    Hey Sarah,
I’m ErinKennedyCPRW from Twitter, also from Michigan.

Have you read, “Eat Pray Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert?

I read it around Christmas time and it was great. I’m usually more of a suspense/thriller kind of gal, but this was wonderfully warm, funny and introspective. It made me look at my own life a little and make myself more of a priority (for the record, the author has no kids).

It’s an autobiography of sorts. Not unlike Jen Lancaster’s stuff, but warmer, not as sarcastic (Jen is a stitch, tho).

    Enjoy!
    Erin

Wow!! That is an impressive list so far. I used to read ALOT and still love to read, but its much harder to find the time. Your list shames me and makes me realize I’m slacking on my beloved books just waiting to be read!!

The amount of books I have read is dropping in the summer months – which makes sense – less time. I just finished my third book this month. Here’s hoping I get caught up!!

So for someone who doesn’t read a lot, which of these do you recommend? I like mystery, true crime, memoirs, humor, classics. Have a few for me?

If you like mystery/true crime – I’d recommend stuff by Greg Iles. I’ve loved everything I’ve read by him so far – just wrapped up another one. “True Evil” and “Turning Angel” were both good books, IMO.
